CURRENT ACADEMIC STATUS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND	PhD, University Professor with a highly disciplinary background and over 35 years of clinical and academic experience. Holds 4 university degrees and has built his clinical and academic activity with the combination of Cardiac Surgery (pediatric and adults); Cardiology and Vascular Surgery.
POSITION	He has held and still holds important leadership roles. Currently holds the position of Medical Director of Barleti University Polyclinic and Member of the Academic Senate of Barleti University.
CONTRIBUTIONS	The research engagement is focused on the field of Cardiac Surgery (pediatric and adult); Cardiology and Vascular Surgery with sustained contributions to scientific publications and the development of institutional research capacities. Author of 29 scientific articles in foreign press (with IF); 24 scientific articles in the local press; 216 presentations at the Congress of Conferences (143 out of the country); the publication of 3 textbooks and 2 doctoral guides.
