CURRENT ACADEMIC STATUS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND	PhD, University Professor with multidisciplinary background and over 30 years of experience in teaching, scientific research and academic direction. He holds five university degrees and has built his academic activity on the combination of applied computer science, data science, electrical engineering and industrial and power electronics.
POSITION	He has held and continues to hold important academic leadership roles, including Vice-Dean, Head of Department, Dean.
CONTRIBUTIONS	Research engagement is focused on Pediatrics, Pediatric respiratory disease, Rare disease with sustained contribution to scientific publications and development of institutional research capacities. Author of 81 scientific publications and 2 textbooks, 1 monography as well as leadership of 6 PhD.
ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENTAL AREAS OF INTEREST	He is active in national and international academic and professional networks, contributing to the development of scientific research and innovation policies. Drafter, manager and participant in projects such as "Evaluation Scales used in Third-Age Individuals: Their Value and Implementation", Early Childhood development Index 2030 (ECDI 2030).
